This day ended up being pretty spectacular. Once a year, our daycare, where both our little ones attend, hosts a free date night for all the families. We had a gift certificate to a very special restaurant and snagged a reservation (with great and thoughtful planning). This restaurant is such a sweet and special spot, a place where my partner and I can come together over an incredibly thoughtful and delicious meal, dream and share, relax and ponder. In a family with two little ones, it’s sometimes a wonder how we find time to stay so connected as a couple. It honestly takes a lot of intention and planning to make time, catch the opportunity to connect and be. Am so grateful for this particular moment we could share! What a special day!
